Now, this is going to sound a bit odd… but I had a flashback this week while sat on the loo (stay with me). It was one of those early parenting days both my kids under five, life feeling like one long, frantic wing-it special.
One little one was asleep with a fever, the other mid-tantrum over toast (triangles, obviously unacceptable that day). I snuck off to the bathroom, hoping for a brief moment of peace.
